Bulgarian observers confirm elections validity

Member of the elections observation mission of Bulgaria held a news conference on Tuesday to sumerize the result of the monitoring of poll on 6 November, Trend reports.

Ilya Bozhinov, the head of the observation mission, said that 50 observers hold monitoring in 44 polling stations. Two of the observers were representatives from the Central Election Commission of Bulgaria, 9 – MPs and the rest represented the non-governmental organizations.

MPs held observation in 20 constituencies, and the rest of the mission in 24 constituencies. Bozhinov noted that the elections were democratic and the violations observed do not affect on the result of the polls.

In their remarks Lawyer Daniel Stoyanov, an adviser to Bulgaria’s Vice President, Vasiliy Ilichev, a sociologist, Plamen Kirov, the first deputy head of the Central Election Commission of Bulgaria, said that elections in Azerbaijan were held in compliance with the national elections legislation and were well organized.
