Anar Mamedkhanov: "Current Milli Mejlis composition must be renewed at upcoming parliamentary elections"

In his opinion, the political membership of candidates does not matter, as the principal thing is not the political position of forces seeking to get to the Parliament, but their knowledge and skills.

"The basic thing for me is the Parliament to be represented by worthy people, by persons, worthy of the deputy title and capable to defend the interests of the state. I think the present Parliament must be renewed. I am not going to blame anyone, but, to my mind, opportunities and the potential of many parliamentarians have been exhausted. Therefore, new people must come to the Parliament, - Mamedkhanov noted.

He also noted that the pre-election campaign must not turn into the confrontation between the authority and the opposition.

"The fight for the seats in the Parliament must not be based on being anybody's supporter. Irrespective of the political membership the victory of the worthiest candidates is desirable", Mamedkhanov underlined.
