1021 foreigners permitted to work in Azerbaijan in 2009

1021 foreigners received an individual permission for working in Azerbaijan in January-March of 2009, said spokesman for the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of population Elnur Kalantarov.
He said in January 643 foreigners got permission to work in our country, in February 191 foreigners and in March 187 foreigners.

"Most foreign citizens in Azerbaijan, legalizing their working activity, are the citizens of Turkey, Georgia, Great Britain, India, Russia. They mostly engage in construction and oil sectors", noted Kalantarov.
