UNESCO to discuss preparation for "Cross-cultural dialogue" summit in Azerbaijan

The event on the “Cross-cultural dialogue” will be held within the framework of the summit in Azerbaijan. Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said the preparation for the meeting had started.

“The preparations are not only made in Azerbaijan. A meeting will be held in connection with it in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on September 13. Organizing Committee has been formed,” he said. Garayev said the organizers of the summit are the Council of Europe, UNESCO, ISESCO, UN Alliance of Civilizations.

“Presidents of several countries will attend the event. Their participation in the summit can give a special importance to the cross-cultural dialogue. We are doing this with the personal participation and on the initiative of the head of state. This is a great and responsible work,” he said.
