Unique nanotechnology systems developed in Azerbaijan

Unique systems “Nanoneft" and "Nanobitum” have been developed in Azerbaijan, under supervision of SOCAR Vice President Khoshbakht Yusifzade and his advisor Professor Eldar Shahbazov to ger drilling agent based on metallic nanoparticles.

“Nanoneft"and "Nanobitum" systems were introduced in wells in “Gum Adası", "Bibiheybat", “Balakhani” and “Beyimdag-Tekchay” deposits. All these wells were drilled up to target depth without any accidents and complications.

The new systems allow to increase drilling speed by 1.4 times saving genetic energy by 34-35%. Newly developed systems have been submitted to the State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents to receive patent.
