Ali Hasanov: "I'm sure arrested journalists will be pardoned"

"President always took humanist steps by pardoning some journalists up to now and did not let their long-term arrest. I am sure that the arrested journalists will be pardoned," said Ali Hasanov, the President’s Office Socio-political Department chief.

Hasanov told the APA that he regrets the arrest of journalists stressing that the government does not see any difference between the one who beat Baheddin Haziyev on the lake shore and the journalist who called innocent person the gang head.

"Both of them are criminals. The journalist commits the crimes with his pen and the other by other means," he said.
