Experts for Caspian Sea ecology meet in Ashgabat

Azerbaijan is represented at the three-day meeting by the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry officials - Rasim Sattarzadeh, sector director of Ecology and Environment Protection Department, Magsud Babayev, sector director of Environment Protection Department and Latifa Huseynova, head of Caspian Complex Ecology Monitoring Office.

According to APA, ecologists from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkmenistan as well as representatives of relevant international organizations are holding discussions on the protocol on coastal pollution of the framework treaty on environment protection in the Caspian Sea. This is the third meeting of experts for discussion of this document.
