Agriculture Minister orders to intensify precautions against Bird Flu

The staff meeting brought together directors of provincial veterinary stations, provincial veterinary experts and the State Veterinary Service (SVS) experts, APA informs.

Agriculture Minister Ismet Abbasov ordered the veterinary stations to intensify precautions against the bird flu virus. The SVS and veterinary stations have been instructed to impose quarantine in Bilasuvar as well as in the suspected areas. It was also instructed to cull infected birds and disinfect the area in 3 km radius of the Gilazi poultry farm in Khizi region.
