Turkish-French relations should not depend on the demands of a third party, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his letter to the French President Nicolas Sarkozy, TRT Haber TV channel reported. The letter stresses that the issue of the so-called "Armenian genocide" is a sensitive and serious topic for Turkey. "France should not sacrifice bilateral relations to political settlement. The country's authorities should not make fatal mistakes," the letter says.
