Turkey's Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said Turkey's energy sector will soon attract enormous investments, Daily Milliyyet reported. He did not provide further information about the investment amount.
"Turkey's priority is liberalization and privatization of energy sector and the activities continue successfully in this sphere," he said. Yildiz underlined that Turkish government is determined to improve energy sector with involvement of private sector. "Turkey has achieved an agreement with Russia to construct nuclear power plants to improve the country's power generation as well", he stressed.
