Istanbul to host Informatics Summit

The Informatics Summit, which brought together professionals and entrepreneurs since 2000, will reach Eurasia in 2011.

The Informatics Summit will take place in Istanbul between October 3 and 5 under the main theme of "Borders Lifted". The Summit will be organized under the name "ICT Summit Eurasia-Informatics Summit'11".

The Summit will receive delegations from Turkish Republics, the Middle East and the Balkans.

The Summit will include conferences, forums and work shops. Among the topics to be discussed are games, social media, e-trade and mobile internet.

Around 4,000 people are expected to attend the Summit.

The Summit will contribute to the Turkish Ministry of Transportation's aim to make Turkey the center of research and development.
