Tanker detained in Georgia because of sea pollution

The Georgian Coast Guard detained a tanker "Anamaria" flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, because of sea pollution.

Administrative proceedings were launched against the ship's captain - Romanian citizen Opri Ion, Georgian Border Police said.

The tanker is moored to the third berth of Batumi Port.
