Georgian interior ministry detains 24 people preparing armed actions

Georgian Interior Ministry detained 24 people who were members of the armed group, the Ministry in a statement on Monday. These persons were detained in the Kintsvisi monastery on May 26.

As stated in the testimony, the head of the armed group, a member of the National Religious Movement, Nick Goguadze, group members had to be under the command of the head of spouse of Nino Burjanadze - Badri Bitsadze, to arrange armed attacks on various government facilities.

Police confirms the close relationship between Khachishvili and Bitsadze.

Today, the public prosecutor's office filed accusations against Badri Bitsadze of preparing armed provocations.
