Armenian president signs law allowing to conclude treaty with unrecognized countries

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed the amendments to the Law "On International Treaties" adopted by Parliament on Dec.17, the Novosti-Armenia reported with reference to the presidential press service.

The amendments regulate the relations between Armenia and the unrecognized entities of international law in matters of peace, human rights, humanitarian, or financial and economic assistance. The bill provides that unrecognized subject of the international law may be a party to an international treaty.
