Iran's President speaks to Hezbollah leader over phone

During the conversation, Ahmadinejad said that Hezbollah must be ready to confront Israel, if it attacks.

"If Israel commits another attack on Lebanon, it is necessary to stop these attempts once and for all. The Iranian people support people of Lebanon and other countries in the region in this matter," he said.

Nasrullah said in response that the Lebanese people are not afraid of possible attacks by Israel. Its plans will fail.
