Russian president meets Catholicos of All Armenians

On Jan. 21, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev met with Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill and the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
The meeting was held prior to the awarding ceremony of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations (IFUOCN).

Spiritual leader of all the Armenians and Russian President were awarded the prizes for 2009.

The sides discussed development of Armenian-Russian ties, including interfaith relations.

Patriarch Kirill plans to visit Yerevan in March 2010.
