Germany has a significant place among the European countries with PKK terrorist groups, the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported to TRT Turk channel on Tuesday before flying to Germany.
According to the Prime Minister, these terrorist groups are quite active in Germany. He added that this issue will be on the agenda in his meetings with German officials.
Earlier, Erdogan said that thirteen thousand militants of the PKK terrorist organization are currently in Germany.
According to the Prime Minister, the PKK representatives forcibly take money from some Kurdish businessmen for their own selfish purposes.
He added that the terrorist organization has stepped up lobbying in some European countries in recent years.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has been continuing for more than 25 years. PKK is recognized as terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
