Bidzina Ivanishvili said neither he nor his coalition has demanded President Mikheil Saakashvili's resignation.
"As for my opinion about the president's resignation stated at a press conference yesterday, it was neither my deamnd, nor a demand made by the coalition. I only said that the Constitution tailored to the interests of one man creates a lot of problems in the political situation and in this situation perhaps resignation of the president would be the best way out," Ivanishvili said.
However, the leader of the "Georgian Dream" emphasizes that the coalition does not make any political ultimatums and "for the good of the country is ready for "dialogue and working relationship with the president and other members of his government to address state affairs".
