Television reporters to protest in Tbilisi

Journalists of television company "Maestro" will hold a protest action in front of Georgian parliament in connection with the events that evolve around the TV channel at 15:00 on July 13.

As part of investigation into the case of bribery of voters by distribution of free antennas Georgian Prosecutor's Office found that on the instruction of the Elita Burji company's leadership, which is associated with political organization of billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili Georgia Dream, the Maestro company imported a great number of antennas into the country.

The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia declares that the taken measures are aimed at protecting the pre-election process from possible criminal interference and ensuring civil rights.
