Some 42 Iranian MPs sent a letter to President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad demanding to cancel the order appointing his son-in-law Mehdi Khurshidi as the head the Organization for Standardization, Iranian FARS news agency reported.
According to Iranian media outlets Ahmedinejad appointed his 30-year-old son-in-law, current chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council Mehdi Khurshidi as the head of the National Organization for Standardization.
MPs say that Khurshidi does not have enough experience to manage such an organization, which applies the laws and controls laws on production, trade and distribution of products produced in the country. Iranian National Organization for Standardization is subordinate to the head of state.
