National leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory honored

The 8th anniversary of death of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev was marked in Pakistan. The event organized by Azerbaijani Embassy brought together members of the Diaspora organizations, intellectuals and journalists.

Another event to mark the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held in Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Serbia. The event was attended by members of Serbia-Azerbaijan Trade and Economy Chamber, representatives of Azerbaijan Culture Center in Belgrade, Azerbaijanis living in the country and journalists. The event participants saw a documentary on the national leader`s lifetime and activity.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Bucharest has arranged a commemorative event to honor the memory of national leader. The event brought together employees of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s representation, members of Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SOCAR`s offices. Opening the event, ambassador Eldar Hasanov spoke of the national leader`s great efforts to protect and strengthen the state independence of Azerbaijan.
