‘Dagestan intends to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan’

Azerbaijani parliament`s Speaker Ogtay Asadov has met Chairman of the National Assembly of Dagestan, Magomed-Sultan Magomedov.  The Chairman of the National Assembly said the Dagestani delegation visited Baku to pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev on the 8th anniversary of his death.

Magomed-Sultan Magomedov praised the ongoing development processes in Azerbaijan. He said Dagestan intends to further boost relationship with Azerbaijan.  For his part, Ogtay Asadov said his country attaches great importance to development of cooperation with federal subjects of Russia, including Dagestan. He added development of interparliamentary ties also serves strengthening cooperation in other spheres.
