Azerbaijan, Iran to discuss information partnership

Azerbaijan and Iran will discuss the information partnership, consider the processes in the country and the situation in TV and radio broadcasting along the borders, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov said on Tuesday. The delegation headed by Hasanov will visit Iran on Dec. 2-5.

Hasanov said the visit is paid at the invitation of Iran's relevant organizations. The Azerbaijani delegation will hold meetings with heads of all Iranian organizations, involved in television, press, and foreign information policy.

"The main goal is to discuss the information partnership between the two countries, to consider the ongoing domestic processes, the situation in TV and radio broadcasting along the borders and other issues of social and political importance," he said. "Another goal is to give certain recommendations on the future cooperation."
