German readers informed about Azerbaijan`s accomplishments

German Thuringer Zeitung newspaper published an article on Azerbaijan. The article informs the readers on Azerbaijan`s struggle for independence and tragedy of 20 January, 1990. The author also touches on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict noting this region of Azerbaijan is under Armenian occupation since 1994. Any war in this region would be threat for European energy security, the author underlines.

The article also narrates of Azerbaijan`s oil-gas policy, noting that Azerbaijan`s role as a bridge between Europe and Central Asia worries its neighbours.  The author underlines development processes in the country.
