President of Azerbaijan sends letter to Afghan president

President of Azerbaijan ,Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to Afghan president Hamid Karzai, on the occasion of death of hairman of the High Peace Council and former President of Afghanistan, distinguished statesman Burhanuddin Rabbani. Below is the text of the letter.

"Dear Mr. President,

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of Chairman of the High Peace Council and former President of Afghanistan, distinguished statesman Burhanuddin Rabbani, in a terror act.

We are very frustrated over this heinous act. We resolutely condemn terrorism, and support all kinds of fight against all its forms and manifestations.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to You, the family of the deceased, and your people over this heavy loss.

May God rest his soul in peace!
