President Ilham Aliyev holds a range of meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today, September 21, received Minister of the economy, energy and tourism of Bulgaria Traycho Traykov. The Bulgarian minister extended the Bulgarian President Georgi Pirvanov`s greetings to the President Ilham Aliyev. The meeting focused on the economic relations between Azerbaijan in Bulgaria, in particular, in the sector of energy and tourism.

The Head of State stressed the necessity of strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, adding the two countries have good potential to develop economic cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev also asked Traycho Traykov to convey his greetings to the Bulgarian President.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Robert Walter, chairman of the European Democrat Group (EDG), Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. During the meeting, they discussed relations between Azerbaijan and PACE.

They stressed the importance of the international event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s independence to be held in Baku. The parties expressed confidence this event would contribute to expanding interparliamentary cooperation.
