Azerbaijan, Russia mull justice cooperation

Justice Minister Fikret Mammadov met with visiting Chairman of the Russia`s Investigation Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

The Minister briefed Bastrykin on the President Ilham Aliyev-led judicial reforms and progress achieved in bringing the country`s judicial system up to date.

For his part, Bastrykin provided an insight into the activities of the Investigation Committee. He made inquiries about Azerbaijan`s best practices related to implementation of justice, administrative justice and forensic examination.

The Russian official visited the Historical Museum of Justice.
