Director General of Azerbaijan`s state telegraph agency awarded with Shohrat Order

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an executive Order to confer Shohrat (Glory) Order upon Director General of Azerbaijan`s State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) Aslan Aslanov.

Aslanov was honored for “his active involvement in the socio-political life of Azerbaijan”.

The chief of one of the world`s oldest news agencies today marks his 60th anniversary. Aslanov has been heading AzerTAc since 2002. Under him, AzerTAc considerably expanded its international cooperation, strengthened technical and material resources and launched new services aimed at boosting its presence in international markets.
