President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to Uzbek counterpart

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev yesterday offered condolences to his Uzbekistani counterpart Islam Karimov on the loss of human lives as a result of the earthquake, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.

The head of state expressed his deep sympathies to president Islam Karimov, families and friends of the dead, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
