
On behalf of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an official dinner was given Thursday in honor of participants of the Crans Montana Forum here.
First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva attended the event.
Mrs. Aliyeva was welcomed by Founder and Chairman of the Crans Montana Forum Jean-Paul Carteron. Opening the dinner, the chairman of the Crans Montana Forum expressed confidence cooperation with Azerbaijan would continue successfully.
First lady thanked Carteron for the organization of this event. Mrs. Aliyeva said “Azerbaijan is a leading country in the Southern Caucasus”. President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation underlined this year Azerbaijan marks the 20th anniversary of its independence. Mrs. Aliyeva also briefed participants on economic, health, education and cultural fields of the country.
“Azerbaijan has strong relations with Europe and our relations are developing successfully,” First Lady noted. President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation invited participants to visit Azerbaijan.
