Valeh Alasgarov: Azerbaijan can not become member of the European Union, unless the issue of territorial integrity is solved

“Azerbaijan can not become member of the European Union, unless the issue of territorial integrity is solved, people return home,” vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Valeh Alasgarov said.

“The membership can not be discussed, unless this problem is solved. If we are partnering and cooperating, our territorial integrity must be ensured. Justice must be ensured, conflict solved peacefully,” he said.

Vice-speaker said Nagorno Karabakh conflict impedes the development of the region.
“Azerbaijan can solve this conflict with its power. But Baku supports peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he said.
