Azeri MP to attend 7th Global Forum of Global Parliamentarians on Habitat

Member of Azerbaijan Parliament, Milli Majlis Mirkazim Kazimov will participate in the 7th Global Forum of the Global Parliamentarians on Habitat to take place from 18 to 20 May in Zadar, Croatia.
The 7th Global Forum of the Global Parliamentarians on Habitat is a worldwide meeting of the parliamentarians who are dealing with questions of sustainable urban development, housing, local self-government and environment.

Overall aim of the meeting is the increased and intensified debate about the topics of sustainable urban development and adequate provision of shelter among parliamentarians as legislators. Motto and theme of the 7th Global Forum is "Good Laws for a Better Habitat".

The 7th Global Forum is a platform where parliamentarians can discuss the effects of a rapid and uncontrolled urbanization and develop possible solutions. During two workshops parliamentarians will investigate following topics: "Legislators as Drivers of Change" and "Climate Change and Coastal Cities". Results of these workshops will be recorded in a political document - "Declaration of Zadar".
