The Azerbaijani first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva has said the government of Azerbaijan provided a financial assistance to the reconstruction work at Louvre Museum.

Mrs. Aliyeva met Director of Louvre Henri Loyrette, who is on a visit in Baku.

"We carried out a number of projects at Louvre. The Azerbaijani government provided a financial assistance to the reconstruction work at the museum."

"And we can expand our cooperation," the Azerbaijani First Lady added.

They discussed the experience exchange in keeping, collecting and preserving museum exhibits.
