Bilateral agreements to be signed during Lithuanian President's visit

Several documents on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania will be signed during the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė’s official forthcoming visit to Azerbaijan.

Agreements on education, science, health, environment, as well as taxes will be signed during the Lithuanian president’s tour, diplomatic sources told Trend today.

President Grybauskaitė will visit Azerbaijan on May 2-3, Lithuanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas told Trend.

Among the key issues to be discussed will be the prospects of bilateral cooperation and regional topics concerning Azerbaijan.

According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the volume of trade turnover between the two countries in 2010 totaled $28.3 million.
