Azerbaijani FM meets PACE President

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Thursday received PACE President Movlud Cavusoglu, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan's relations with the PACE cover many spheres and yield useful results. He said the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be resolved only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Mammadyarov welcomed plans to restore the PACE ad hoc committee on Nagorno-Karabakh. He said Azerbaijan fully supports this initiative and considers it important to continue efforts of PACE in this regard.

Cavusoglu expressed satisfaction with the invitation to attend World Forum on intercultural dialogue in Baku. He said such activities play an important role in combating growing racism and religious enmity at the modern time.
