Azerbaijan mulls parliamentary minority's representation in constituencies

Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) member Mikayil Rahimov said the parliamentary minority’s representation in constituencies will be clarified next week.

The parliamentary minority is holding discussions on the issue, Rahimov said.

"These political parties are discussing which party and which region will nominate a candidate. Issues will be specified at the next meeting next week," Rahimov said.

Seats will be given to all parties belonging to the parliamentary minority, he added.

The constituencies consist of nine members appointed by the CEC.
