Members of UK-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group to visit Baku

"Members of the UK-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group will visit Baku. Such visits make us closer and develop cooperation," member of the House of Lords and UK-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mrs. Baroness Mary Goudie said at the Milli Majlis.

Deputy Chairman of committee for economic policy of the Milli Majlis, member of the Friendship Group Chingiz Asadullayev briefed Mrs. Goudie on 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

Asadullayev spoke of Azerbaijan's economic development, projects implemented in the country and the region, achievements and accomplishments.

Mrs. Goudie said the UK attaches great importance to development of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Deputy chairman of the Milli Majlis's committee for legal policy and state building Rovshan Rzayev and MP Fuad Muradov informed Goudie about the ways for settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, right and fair stance of official Baku and situation of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh.
