30 March 2011 [17:35] - TODAY.AZ
"Thousands of documents concerning genocides committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis were gathered from the archives of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, London, Delhi, Istanbul and Ankara. These documents prove that policy was pursued to create a great Armenia without Turks in the South Caucasus," director of History Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Yagub Mahmudov said.

According to him, as these documents need investigation, talks were held with Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov. According to the agreement reached between the History Institute and Prosecutor General’s Office, a joint scientific research group was established.

This group has been functioning since last May. The aim of the research is to carry out investigations from the beginning of the 19th century up to the Khojaly genocide and Sumgayit events and to release them as legal document and send to the International Court of Justice.

"The Armenian fascism’s technology of killing has no analogue in the world. By uniting science and law of Azerbaijan we will be able to expose the Armenian fascism," he said.
