Turkish Defense Minister: Azerbaijan, Turkey intend to raise cooperation in defense industry to higher level

The meetings in Azerbaijan will discuss raising cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the defense industry to a higher level, the Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, told journalists today in Baku.

He said the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are based on the principles of "one nation, two states".

Gonul will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Defense Minister Safar Abiyev, Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov and State Border Service head Elchin Guliyev, the Turkish Defense Ministry's official representative Ertan Erozcan told Trend.
