How do you assess the fact that the UN Security Council voted to toughen sanctions against Iran?

This is a vivid evidence of outright U.S. hostility towards Iran. After all, the United States was urging to sign uranium exchange agreement which was concluded recently between Turkey, Brazil and Iran. As we see, contrary to all expectations, after Tehran signed an agreement that was among the main requirements of the U.S. towards Iran only a year ago, it turned out that in fact the United States does not deeply care about what actions Iran actually takes.

The United States is only interested in hounding Iran as a sovereign state. The UN Security Council decision to tighten sanctions against Iran demonstrates hypocrisy of the campaign on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons started by the United States. The campaign is needed only to have an opportunity to interfere in internal affairs of other states.

We all remember that at one time the invasion of American troops in Iraq was also preceded by accusations of mythical nuclear weapons in Iraq. Americans did know that such weapons do not exist, but they needed an excuse to invade Iraq. It was later confirmed that there were no nuclear weapons in Iraq.

Can the new round of UN Security Council sanctions cause attack by the United States and its allies to Iran?

Had it not been for Israel’s erroneous action against Freedom Flotilla, there would be all necessary conditions for military action against Iran. But current situation does not allow launching a military action against Iran since Israel faced international condemnation and moral and psychological isolation for its actions.

And how do you assess Azerbaijan’s solidarity with fraternal Turkey over the attack on a humanitarian cargo ship bound for Gaza and that the country condemned this attack along with Turkey?

Baku showed great wisdom and made a very correct and timely statement, which brought it even closer with Ankara. It is already apparent that Israel is doomed state devoid of global support which was an essential tool for a large number of steps openly cynical and disrespectful of international law.

World now supports Iran and Palestine as well as Turkey. Azerbaijan gained huge dividends, declaring that its stands in solidarity with its Turkish brothers over the attack on humanitarian cargo ship in the Mediterranean which resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians. This step makes Azerbaijan one of the independent players on the world political arena.
