A few years ago, even before the war, we wrote about the
plans of the occupation regime in Khankendi to produce caviar in Karabakh, and
in volumes exceeding those produced by the traditional world leaders - Russia
and Iran.
In Armenia, they were offended, accusing us of "turning
people's grief into a circus" and the like. I had to answer and explain to
the occupiers that it is Armenia that is making a farce out of the tragic pages
of its history, attaching this dubious fact everywhere, whether it is
appropriate or not. And today we want to repeat: the Armenian agitprop
completely devalued its own fiction about the "Armenian genocide."
The myth didn't work out as planned, and the sponsors of this outrage are tired
too. The so-called Armenian issue has been afloat for quite a long time, forming
a certain image for the Armenians and opening the doors of Western capitals to
them. But after the unsuccessful 100th anniversary of the alleged
"genocide", the enthusiasm of the authors of this ugly scenario began
to wane. In 2015, Yerevan and its guardians took all measures to turn the
anniversary into a worldwide campaign against Turkiye and criminalize the
denial of this fake almost at the UN level. But it didn't work out. The
speeches were noisy, the guests left, and in Armenia they realized that they
were left with only one purchase - a nose.
This year, the Armenians are preparing for the next round
date of the "genocide" especially carefully. April 24 is not only the
main holiday in the calendar of every Armenian, it is also an opportunity to
once again remind oneself. Today, when the situation in the world is skewed and
skewed, our neighbors need to know like the air that the cudgel called the
"Armenian genocide" can still work. Ten years ago, Armenian experts
claimed that the 100th anniversary of the "genocide" would become
"a new stage in international condemnation," and so on. But the stage
did not take place. The circus, as they say, is gone, but the clowns remain.
This year, the Armenians are counting on something and hoping for something
again.
The scenario of festive events and torchlight processions is
already being painted. We don't say "festive" to mock our neighbors.
The development of the myth of the "genocide" by the powers actually
became a great holiday for the Armenians, as it brought the Armenians into the
ranks of the "great martyrs", which they had never been, gave them
preferences in the West, and opened many doors for them. Although it was the
Armenians themselves who committed genocide more than once during the last
century and were guilty of many crimes against humanity. Obscurantists look
forward to April 24 with more impatience than the birthdays of their own
children. But it would be more correct to celebrate not the anniversary of the
"genocide", but the anniversary of the birth of the myth of the
"genocide", which was born in the 60s of the last century. This way,
the Armenians would at least bring their celebrations a little closer to
reality. Because the "Armenian genocide" is not a historical fact,
but only a propaganda trick.
Of course, no one will give up this feature. So far, it may
be useful to the centers of power in deterring Turkiye. However, the Armenians
have already received everything they could get for their services. There will
be no additional buns.
As an additional bun, our neighbors expect to promote the
topic of the "genocide in Karabakh." If nothing happened with the
"genocide in Ottoman Turkiye", the Armenian side hopes to win by
playing against us. In the opinion of its neighbors, Azerbaijan is not Turkiye
and will not be able to resist the combined efforts of the international
community. The international community, represented by the European
parliaments, senates, congresses and others, will stamp their feet...
Last week, the European Parliament held a meeting dedicated
to the anniversary of the Armenian myth. The main feature of the event was the
increase in the number of "genocides" allegedly committed against
Armenians. Now the events of 1915 and the anti-terrorist operation of September
2023 are considered in one bundle. What was discussed at the meeting of the
club of Turkophobes and Islamophobes is not worth going into in detail. It's
the same old song - to condemn, punish, release, and make their recognition of
Armenian interests a condition of cooperation with Baku and Ankara. Etc.
In parallel, on the other side of the ocean, in the United
States, the Armenian lobby organized an evening of remembrance called
"remembering the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1923." The Armenian
National Committee of America (ANCA), as always, tried to present the gathering
of lobbyists around the Armenian manger as almost a pan-American event. The
speakers told fairy tales, recalled second cousins, and demanded that Turkiye
and Azerbaijan be punished. Long-time Armenian clients Ed Markey and Frank
Pallone, representing the Democrats, emphasized in their speeches that support
for Armenians is bipartisan. This was not done by chance, but in order to show
that the new US administration would also protect Armenian interests like the
previous one. The Armenian lobby in Congress is mostly made up of Democrats,
and this greatly complicates the affairs of the Diaspora. Moreover, the
dinosaurs of the lobby, one by one, find themselves in limbo and they no longer
have time for Armenian affairs. Bob Menendez quit the game and Adam Schiff, a
"veteran" of the lobby, lost sleep after statements by Elon Musk.
There are still Stamps and Pallones in the clip, making statements on the
machine. I think it will be their turn, too.
But that's not even the most important thing. The most
important thing is the position of official Yerevan, and it is very different
today from the generally accepted one, which has been used by the Armenian
society for the last sixty years. The myth of "genocide" was born in the
60s of the last century in the USSR, and before that, no one in the world
considered the events of 1915 as some kind of targeted mass massacre. It was
well known what happened during the First World War and how much an unseemly
role the Armenians played in the events.
Meeting with Armenians of the Diaspora in Davos, Nikol
Pashinyan stated the need to understand what happened, why it happened, and why
the issue of "genocide" was not on the agenda in 1939, but suddenly
appeared in the 1960s. "Do we need to understand this or not?" - the
Armenian Prime minister asked.
It is interesting to see how the Prime Minister of Armenia
will express this sound idea at the anniversary celebrations. In the presence
of a crowd and foreign guests, would he risk questioning the incredibly
inflated data on the number of "victims" and saying that it was
necessary to count them all again? We'll see.
