Most positive expectation from three presidents' Moscow meeting is withdrawal of Armenian troops from Azerbaijani lands

15 July 2009 [17:41] - TODAY.AZ
“The most positive expectation from three Moscow meeting of of Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian presidents could be an agreement on the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan," Director of the Russian Post-Soviet Research Center Alexander Karavayev said.

"OSCE Minsk Group Russian Co-Chair Yuri Merzyakov also stressed this in his statement for the Azerbaijani journalists. It would be better if the process starts in Moscow. It could be considered the most positive point” he said.

He said the point which complicates the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is that there were many subjective factors. “In any case, we see that Armenia is not ready for the constructive talks and results”.
