"I have come to Azerbaijan to suggest Eastern Partnership program to your country", said Benita Ferrero-Waldner, EU commissioner on external ties and European neighborhood policy.

She said this promote will promote deepening of cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU in economic, political, energy, social and other spheres.
The EU commissioner noted that the program will also promote facilitation of visa procedures.
"Azerbaijan is an important country in the South Caucasus and we want it to be maximally close to EU. We are contended with measures, taken in the country to improve business climate and we want Azerbaijani authorities to continue reforms in this sphere", said she.
