Alexei Vlasov: "The BTC pipeline is more important for the United States than the freedom of speech in Azerbaijan"

This information was commented by Alexei Vlasov, general director of the Center of study of the sociopolitical processes in CIS under the Moscow State University, while speaking to Gazeta.Ru:

"It is early to state that the shutdown of Liberty radio is an obvious demonstration of a new course of the Azerbaijani powers. But this is the fact that they have become too nervous in their reaction to the critical comments of foreign journalists".

The expert does not consider that the problems of the radio stations may worsen relations between Baku and Washington.
