Azerbaijani Minister of Health meets with Finnish Minister of External Trade and Development

Minister Shiraliyev stressed the importance of the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Finland in May of this year, as well as the development of partner relations of both countries in the sphere of health and economy.

Oqtay Shiraliyev noted that the country is implementing such programs as "E-map of health", "Improvement of health services in the regions", "Mandatory health insurance".

In turn, the Finnish Minister noted that though the health sector is developing intensively in his country, they still have some problems in this sphere.

According to the Minister, in the framework of the partner relations in the sphere of health and medicine, Europe proposed to implement joint projects for the resolution of these problems.

Health minister O.Shiraliyev said he considers the meeting of medical experts of Azerbaijan and Finland for the purpose of preparing more definite proposals to be expedient.
