NATO may assist Azerbaijan in protecting energy infrastructures and projects

If Azerbaijani Government and NATO reach an agreement, the alliance can assist Azerbaijan in protection of energy infrastructures and projects, Azerbaijani Permanent Representation to NATO told APA.
The representation said though the protection of energy infrastructures was the internal problem of every state, NATO can offer assistance to the relevant bodies of these states within the framework of agreements.

The representation also said that NATO experts would visit Azerbaijan soon to monitor the implementation of the first stage of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) and start the second stage.
