Vugar Seidov: "The fact that Kocharyan's regime provoked an armed clash in the Karabakh direction proves that Armenia is directly involved in the conflict"

Day.Az appealed for comments to political reviewer Vugar Seidov on the violation of ceasefire on the front line. Seidov said the following:

"The so-called army for defense of Nagorno Karabakh does not exist. There are armed forces of Armenia, dislocated both in Armenia, as well as their expedition corps in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, including Nagorno Karabakh. This is a single organism with a common command and budget. Armenian draftees serve in the occupied lands and here the Armenian authorities hide the excess of heavy technique, beyond the limits, established for it.

The Defense Ministry of the so-called "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" exists only on the paper, which has been done to stress "independence" of this area, which does not exist in the reality. Indeed, the occupied land of Azerbaijan has been fully incorporated with Armenia, which proves existence of direct territorial claims of Armenia to Azerbaijan and fully contradicts to the myth on independence of Nagorno karabakh.

Another proof of Armenia's direct involvement into the conflict with Azerbaijan is a influence of internal conflict, which arose following the elections in Armenia, on the situation on the contact front line in Karabakh.

The fact that Kocharyan's regime provoked an armed clash in the Karabakh direction to distract attention from the conflict in Armenia evidences that Yerevan controls the situation in Karabakh and Nagorno Karabakh is not independent. Armenia is directly involved into the conflict and the "Karabakh side does not exist".

This proves that Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict is territorial and has nothing in common with the "self-determination" of the so-called "people of Nagorno Karabakh". This has become obvious.

While developing ways of the conflict resolution the OSCE Minsk Group should take these obvious facts into account and reject Armenia's attempts to mislead the world community about the "right" of the so-called "people" for the so-called "self-determination.

This is the most banal territorial conflict, which has nothing to do with the human rights or the right of national minorities. Everything comes to territorial claims".
