Workgroup for human rights holds conference

Seide Gojamanli told the APA the right defenders' proposals on the pardon decree expected to be signed at the eve of Novruz holiday were discussed in the conference. They proposed the sick prisoners to be pardoned.

"State officials noted these proposals will be discussed by the Pardon Committee in a few days," she stated.

The right defenders also proposed amnesty for those arrested during the events in October, 1994, March, 1995, 2003 presidential elections and left the country on these reasons.
