Sardar Jalaloghlu: "Azadliq alliance tries to dictate their terms to Rasul Guliyev and us"

15 March 2007 [22:45] - TODAY.AZ
"Making use of the letter and processes in ADP Azadliq alliance leadership made attempts to dictate Rasul Guliyev and us their terms. That is why they wanted to hide Rasul Guliyev's letter away from me," a leader of a part of Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) Sardar Jalaloghlu said.

"I became aware of that later. I am to be made aware after it is discussed by three men. It is an immoral act. I told them that though the letter was addressed to you it is dealt with us much more. Those men could show no arguments, except that bad moral impact of the publication," he told APA.

Sardar Jalaloghlu said that that letter plays no role in ADP's dismissal from the bloc.

Jalaloghlu thinks that such sorts of thoughts are excuse and that he was not warned by anyone: "Akif Shahbazov said that the letter would be published in two weeks. We answered that publication date of the letter do not change anything. Let the people know about letter right now. The reason for ADP's dismissal is our decision on political dialogue. If Lala Shovkat requested me not to publish letter, but I did not listen him she would have been fair. On the other hand it is not a personal letter. Despite that it was addressed to Ali Karimli and Lala Shovkat, it is dealt with ADP much more. He appreciated this act as discordant with the regulations of bloc and as an indicator of political intolerance: "Either you must be along with me or die. This is one of the biggest defects of the democracy. Most people deny us and do not want to understand us. This inspires our pity and we do not bear malice to anyone. Probably Azadliq bloc will dissolute before presidential elections. In that case we can cooperate with ANFP and ALP in the matters of mutual interest. At the present time the joint cooperation of 4 parties is impossible. This decision was not right and caused the collapse of the bloc."
