Farhad Aliyev's mother-in-law gives testimony in Ali Insanov's trial

Trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued at Azerbaijan’s Court of Grave Crimes.

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

Isakhan Ashurov, lawyer for accused Aleksandr Umnyashkin, solicited and asked to submit act on appropriation of AZN4000 to court and to create situation for him to attend the meetings of Coordination Council of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences' Eastern Studies Institute. Public prosecutor Kamran Aliyev said that the acts will be presented to court when the arguments will be investigated.

Judge Faig Gasimov said Umnyashkin can only attend the meetings when the trial will not be.

Then Farhad Aliyev's mother-in-law Zinyet Kerimova gave testimony. She said that 59sq/m of Children's policlinic was privatized after the policlinic was replaced and the person who privatized the area sold it to her.

The trial will continue in the second half of the day.
